Job summary

Trinity Health in Syracuse, NY is seeking an Electrophysiology Radiology Technologist for a part-time, day-shift role with per-diem duties. The position emphasizes independence with no night work or weekend shifts.

Under EP Cardiologist supervision, the technologist will scrub, monitor hemodynamics, assist with ablations, and manage imaging during EP procedures in a clinical setting. A NY license and RT/RTT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• RT or RTT certification required.
• CIIP certification preferred.
• New York State DOH license with intravascular contrast injection.
• BLS certification required (ACLS provided on hiring).

Responsibilities

• Pre-procedure preparation of the Electrophysiology suite and equipment.
• Operate fluoroscopy, ultrasound and other imaging equipment.
• Assist radiologists and physicians during interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with venous/arterial access devices.
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide postoperative care as directed.

Education

Associate degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology

Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Radiology Technician (RTT)

New York State Department of Health License with intravascular contrast injection

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Interventional or Cardiac Radiology CIIP certification preferred
