Providence Heart Institute Montana is seeking a Per Diem Electrophysiologist to join a renowned EP team in Missoula, MT. The role emphasizes lead extraction and VT ablation within a busy, hospital-based program.

The practice includes a supportive group of APCs, state-of-the-art EP labs, and opportunities for outpatient clinics across western Montana. Board-certified or board-eligible physicians are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible electrophysiologist required. Must have eligibility to obtain medical license in Montana.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrophysiology studies and ablations, including lead extraction and VT ablation.
• Provide peri-procedural and post-procedural care in collaboration with EP team.
• Contribute to a busy, hospital-based EP program and participate in outreach clinics across western Montana.

Job description

Join a renowned heart center in the heart of the Rockies as a Per Diem Electrophysiologist. Providence Heart Institute Montana is recruiting a board-certified/board-eligible Electrophysiologist to join their team of 3 EPs.

The group offers robust EP services, with special expertise in lead extraction and VT ablation. There are currently 2 EP labs with a third lab planned for 2026. This is a busy procedural group offering ablation for atrial fibrillation with PFA, SVT, VT, PVCs as well as ablation for arrhythmias in adult congenital heart disease.

A full complement of APCs provide consultative and longitudinal care in the clinic setting. Providence Heart Institute is home to robust Heart Failure, Structural Heart, Interventional, Vascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery teams as well. We provide care across western Montana with outreach clinics in several communities. The team values collaboration and load sharing, promoting a highly collegial environment.
