Qualifications

• Completion of an approved AMA program or on-the-job training with documentation.
• Completion of all major competency verifications on a yearly basis.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in adult, child and neonate age-specific EEG procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EEG testing with physicians, nurses, patients and family for all ages.
• Document procedures, report adverse reactions and bill for services rendered.
• Evaluate equipment needs and assist in purchasing decisions.
• Ensure all equipment operates properly and is maintained per manufacturer specifications.
• Perform EEG testing according to physician orders on in/outpatients.
• Prepare reports and EEG findings for neurology interpretation.
