Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in nutrition sciences or related field.
• Successful completion of a CADE-accredited dietetic internship with emphasis on clinical applications.
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and RDN exam completion within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs other duties as assigned
• Completes nutrition assessments and re-assessments according to policies.
• Counsels patients and families on prescribed diets and documents education.
• Mentors nutrition interns and provides training for a thorough learning experience.
• Conducts nutrition lectures for outpatients and external groups.
• Identifies patients at high nutritional risk and monitors outcomes of medical nutrition therapy.
