Emerson HR is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our dining services for residents. You will set up dining areas, assist with meal preparation under supervision, and deliver meals on schedule while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; food service certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as dietary aide in food service or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines to maintain hygienic environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills for resident interaction.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under guidance of dietary manager or cook, following safety instructions.
• Deliver dishes and trays to designated rooms on time.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup by clearing dining areas and gathering utensils.
• Maintain hygiene by disposing of leftovers and taking out garbage.
• Keep food stations clean and wash dishes and equipment.
• Monitor ingredient stock and assist with inventory.
