Job summary

The Meadows Psychiatric Center is seeking a Dietary Aide on a per diem basis to support meal service across two shifts: 6am-2:30pm and 10am-6:30pm. This role emphasizes food safety, patient-focused service, and collaboration with food service staff in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities include adhering to sanitation standards, maintaining a welcoming dining area, and supporting ongoing program needs while delivering compassionate care to patients of all ages within a large healthcare network.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Vocational or other formal culinary education is preferred.
• Knowledge of food service, food safety and sanitation is required.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to remain calm in dynamic environment; commitment to providing a high level of care to patients of all ages, excellent customer service skills and a reliable & dependable attendance to work profile.
• Experience with cooking and meal prep in an institutional setting is preferred.
