Job summary

Queens-Long Island Renal Institute seeks a Per-Diem Hemodialysis RN to join our team in New Hyde Park, NY. The RN will provide age-appropriate care using the nursing process within a collaborative multidisciplinary setting.

The ideal candidate holds a NYS RN license (BSN preferred) with active BCLS and ACLS (preferred), and has at least one year of dialysis experience. We offer a competitive rate and comprehensive benefits for qualifying employees.

Qualifications

• Active NYS RN license.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Current BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physiologic and psychosocial health status.
• Identify patient outcomes and prioritize care.
• Formulate and implement a care plan.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team; delegate tasks as needed.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Educate patients and families about care and procedures.
