Job summary

St. Joseph’s Health seeks a capable ultrasound professional to perform routine sonographic exams in inpatient or outpatient settings following protocol for positioning and image quality. You will use specialized equipment and software to capture images and enter patient data into hospital databases.

The role emphasizes technical proficiency and strong interpersonal skills to contribute to the department's overall excellence and patient care.

Qualifications

Two to three years of occupationally specific education beyond high school or an Associate's degree in Ultrasound technology or closely related field.
ARDMS registration or CCI certificate within 12 months of hire; RDMS registration required or CCI certification in specified modality.

Responsibilities

Perform routine sonographic exams in inpatient and/or outpatient settings following protocol for positioning, image quality, and ALARA principles.
Utilize specialized equipment and software to produce images and enter patient information into hospital databases.
Contribute to the department's excellence through personal commitment to technical and interpersonal skills.
