Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• CT experience preferred.
• IEMA licensure required.
• ARRT Radiology certification (R) and ARRT CT certification; register within six months.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner to obtain diagnostic images.
• Positions patients for procedures and administers contrast media.
• Operates imaging equipment per Radiologist directions.
• Explains procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
