Job summary

Atria is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT scans and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining equipment.

You will collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care, follow safety protocols, and participate in ongoing education to stay current with CT technology. This on-site role supports the west coast expansion and integrates with the radiology team.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program.
  • Current California CRT certificate in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • Current California Fluoroscopy Permit.
  • ARRT(R) certification required (or must be obtained within 1 year of hire).
  • Venipuncture certification for radiologic technologists.
  • 24 CE credits per two-year period.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans on patients as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Administer contrast media and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Assist in positioning patients correctly to obtain the best images for diagnosis.
  • Review images for quality and completeness before submitting them to radiologists.
  • Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately in the medical record.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to infection control practices.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and assisting with diagnostic imaging procedures. Compensation

$80 - 92/hr

  • Education: Graduate of an ARRT-approved radiologic technology program.
  • California Licensure: * Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certificate in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology.
  • Current California Fluoroscopy Permit (required for specialized CT/Radiography procedures).
  • National Certification: * ARRT(R) required; ARRT(CT) certification required (or must be obtained within 1 year of hire).
  • Venipuncture: Must hold a valid California venipuncture certification for radiologic technologists.
  • Safety Commitment: Documented evidence of Image Gently and Image Wisely dose pledges.
  • Continuing Education: Must maintain 24 CE credits per two-year period (consistent with RHB and ARRT requirements).
