Day Kimball Health is seeking a per diem CT Technologist to join the CT Scan department in Putnam, CT. The role involves performing CT exams, patient prep, and contrast administration under radiologist supervision.

Required ARRT certification, CT license in CT, and two years of radiologic tech program experience; CPR certification within 3 months of hire is required; prior IV insertion experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completed two years of an approved Radiological Technology Program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• A current Connecticut state license for CT is required.
• CT Registered and CT license active in CT state required.
• Maintaining ARRT CEUs to meet guidelines.
• CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform a variety of CT exams, including invasive procedures and IV insertion.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain consent as needed.
• Operate and adjust CT equipment to apply ionizing radiation for diagnosis.
• Administer prescribed contrast media per guidelines.
• Assist in interventional CT examinations.
