Job summary

Summit Health in New Jersey is seeking a per diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia services across multiple ASCs. The position offers a lifestyle with no nights, no call, no holidays, and no weekend work, with compensation around $200 per hour.

The role requires NJ RN license, CRNA certification, CDS and DEA, and ability to commute to Berkeley Heights and Florham Park as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires NJ State Medical License and certification and board certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• CDS and DEA required.
• Ability to commute to Berkeley Heights and Florham Park, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively on a team with 15 full-time Anesthesiologists and 5 CRNAs.
• Provides anesthetic care for a wide variety of cases including General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, Spine, Plastics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, and GI.
• Provides anesthetic care for all types of patients and procedures in collaboration with the medically directing physician and under the standards and guidelines of the Department of Anesthesiology.
• Will administer anesthesia during surgery or procedures and will continuously monitor the patient’s vital signs and reactions and manage accordingly.
