Job summary

Doral Health & Wellness is seeking a Creative Arts Therapist to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. Conduct individual sessions (art, dance, drama), design therapy programs, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document progress.

Requirements include a Master’s in Creative Arts Therapy or related field, licensure, Child Life Specialist certification, and experience with medically fragile populations; Ukrainian language preferred. Rate: $75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy, Art Therapy, Dance/Movement Therapy, or related field.
• Registered or licensed Creative Arts Therapist.
• Child Life Specialist certification through the Child Life Council.
• Experience with medically fragile populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual creative arts therapy sessions (art, dance, drama, etc.).

Are you passionate about using creative expression to help individuals heal and grow? Doral Health & Wellness is seeking a skilled and compassionate Creative Arts Therapist to join our dynamic team!

Location: Westchester Area and the New York City boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and the Bronx), as well as Rockland, Putnam, Suffolk, and Nassau Counties.

Type: Fee-for-Service, 1099 Independent Contractor

Specialty: Help children/youth better understand and express their feelings, emotions, behaviors, etc. through creative and kinesthetic treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual creative arts therapy sessions (art, dance, drama, etc.)
• Design and implement creative therapy programs tailored to meet the unique needs of patients
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
• Keep detailed records of therapy sessions and patient progress
• Create a safe, engaging space for clients to explore self-expression through creative arts
