Job summary

Greenwood Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in Greenwood, SC seeks a Per Diem COTA to join our patient-focused team. The role supports occupational therapy services for adults recovering from neurologic or orthopedic conditions, under therapist supervision.

The successful candidate will have a CURRENT COTA license, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of rehab hospital experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to ensure quality patient care and timely progress notes.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a COTA per state guidelines.
• Current CPR/BLS card required.
• One year of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication and confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of an occupational therapist, provides rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments.
• Monitors the patient’s program and records progress for the occupational therapist.
• Aligns daily practice with the hospital’s mission and guiding principles.
