Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant - Per Diem to support clinical care under supervision. The role involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, assisting during physician visits, and performing routine tests as directed.

Strong communication and data-entry skills are essential, with familiarity in CRS software and patient confidentiality. Education includes a high school diploma or GED and CMA certification; CPR/BLS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares exam and treatment areas, rooms, supplies and instruments.
• Assists with patient visits and examinations as directed by the physician or nurse.
• Records vital signs and documents in the medical chart.
• Performs EKG, PFT, Audiometry, and related tests as instructed.
• Maintains patient records and supports billing/collections as needed.
