Job summary

Garden City Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join a dedicated nutrition team on site. Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian required (CMS requirement).
• One year healthcare experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides appropriate patient nutritional care.
• Assesses the nutritional status of patients, formulates a care plan, coordinates its implementation, and evaluates its impact and effectiveness.
• Provides nutrition education to patients/families.
• Approves supplements as appropriate and assists in the development of a hospital formulary appropriate to the patient population.
