Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA is seeking a Per Diem Radiologic Technologist to operate the x-ray equipment in the Cardiac Cath Lab and obtain radiographic/fluoroscopic images of the heart and vasculature under physician direction.

The successful candidate will position patients, ensure safety, and follow ARRT/CRT certifications and ACLS/BLS requirements; four years Cath Lab experience preferred; RCIS optional. Corona Regional Medical Center is part of Universal Health Services.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years recent working experience in a full service Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Current California Department of Health Services CRT certification.
• ARRT certification required.
• ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association).
• Registered by the ARRT in interventional angiography and/or cardiac intervention preferred.
• RCIS optional.

Responsibilities

• Operate the x-ray equipment in the Cath Lab to obtain radiographic and/or fluoroscopic images as instructed by the operating physician.
• Position and instruct the patient for radiologic and/or fluoroscopic examinations.
• Under supervision, contribute to imaging of the heart and its vasculature and/or peripheral vascular system.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
