Job summary
Aya Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a BICU Registered Nurse for per diem shifts in Livingston, NJ. This position offers freedom and flexibility to fit your current schedule while delivering critical care to acutely ill patients.
Requirements include ACLS and BLS certifications, experience with ventilated patients, IV access, sedation and monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and infection prevention. Aya provides a supportive team, credentialing assistance, a shifts app, and competitive per-shift
Qualifications
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Care of Ventilated Patient
- Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade
- Emergency Medications
- Intake and Output monitoring
- Phlebotomy
- Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
- Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia
- Titrate Vasoactive drips
- Urine output assessment
- Accessing/Managing Ports
- Blood Product Administration
- Central line care/management
- Continuous IV sedation
- HFNC
- Infection Prevention
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Isolation Precautions/PPE
- IV insulin protocols
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- PICC line management
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Suctioning (ETT, NT)
- Titrate Cardiac drips
- Ventilator Management
