Helio Health, Inc. is seeking a dependable Counselor Aide to join our team at the Elements location in Liverpool, NY on a Per Diem basis.

The role focuses on assisting with counseling tasks for residents with mental health issues and chemical addictions, supporting patient success in treatment, and enabling long-term career opportunities. Shifts include 8am-4:30pm, 4pm-12:30am, and 12M-8:30am, with pay up to $21.28 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service or human services experience preferred.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License may be required depending on service setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screening, intake, orientation, referral and counseling.
• Support crisis response, patient education and case management.
• Maintain records and report to supervising professionals.
• Participate in program committees as assigned.
• Represent the agency to the community.
