Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Medicine, Internal Medicine-Pediatrics has an exciting opportunity for a per diem Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). The APRN also examines and treats patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals.

Responsible for comprehensive patient assessments, order diagnostics, prescribe medications per scope, and provide education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• Valid State of Florida APRN license required.
• Two years' experience required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive adult and pediatric assessments.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Provide patient and family education and counseling.
