Job summary

NAPA Management Services Corporation is seeking an Anesthesiologist for Methodist Texsan Hospital in San Antonio, TX. This per diem, part-time role supports an established anesthesia service with facilities including a 24-hour cardiovascular ED and four operating rooms.

Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessment, patient consent, anesthesia induction and emergence, and intraoperative patient monitoring. Requires MD/DO, ECFMG/FLEX, and completed anesthesia residency.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• ECFMG/FLEX certification completed.
• Completion of accredited residency in anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Case assignments across cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, electrophysiology, ECT and general anesthesia.
• Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
• Manage patients under anesthesia and monitor physiologic status.
