Job summary

St. Joseph's Health is seeking an Advanced Life Support provider to deliver critical pre-hospital care during transport in accordance with departmental policies and NJ Health Department regulations.

You will administer premiere ALS to critically ill and injured patients of all ages, while maintaining up-to-date certifications and collaborating with MICN and MICP teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have AAS in paramedicine if certified after June 2015 or HS diploma/GED if before June 2015.
• Must hold NJ MICP or NJ RN with MICN endorsement and one year as MICP/MICN
• Certifications in American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS
• Certifications in IC S100, IC S200 and IC S700
• Certifications in PHTLS, BTLS or ITLS within 6 months of hire
• Valid state driver's license with clean record
• CEVO training or EVOC within 6 months of hire
• Knowledge of N.J.A.C. 8:41
• NREMT-P or NR Paramedic preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide Advanced Life Support care as prescribed by policies and NJ DOH MICP regulations.
• Administers premiere pre-hospital care to critically ill and injured individuals of all ages during transport.
