Job summary
Hartford HealthCare’s Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse for all shifts. This role supports nursing leadership in delivering evidence-based care, with a focus on safety and high reliability. The position emphasizes developing plans of care for complex patients and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Education requirements include an accredited nursing program and a nursing degree. Experience includes at least 1,000 hours of RN clinical work.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.
- One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse.
Responsibilities
- Develop a plan of care for complex, multi-varianced patient populations.
- Collaborate with Nursing Leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide care per State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Manage a full patient assignment with expanding responsibilities over time.
