Job summary

Admiral Beverage seeks a dedicated Merchandiser to join our Logan, Utah team. You will display beverages on shelves, on sales floors, and in showcases, ensuring attractive layouts that align with management plans.

You will arrange products, apply signs, and move stock from storage to floor displays to promote availability and compliance with Sell By dates. The role demands physical work including lifting up to 70 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Some states require employees to be 21+ years old when promoting, merchandising and delivering alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Arrange products on shelves per prearranged plan approved by management.
• Place price and descriptive signs on fixtures and merchandise.
• Transfer products from stock room to floor displays to maximize sell-by dates and minimize stock room.
• Order product for assigned accounts to prevent out-of-stock conditions.
• Develop display ideas or follow managers' schedules for displays.
• Communicate daily with store personnel regarding service or product needs.
• Construct or assemble display aids from POS materials.
• Follow supervision and perform other duties as assigned.

Primary Location:

Logan, Utah

Merchandiser:

Displays beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and on sales floor of retail store by performing the following duties.

• Arranges products according to prearranged plan or own ideas approved by management.
• Places price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor.
• Transfers product from customer stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, maximize product in store and minimize product in stock room.
• Orders product for assigned accounts in accordance with established procedures to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions.
• Originates display ideas or follows suggestions or schedule of Merchandiser Manager and Sales Manager.
• Communicate effectively daily with key store personnel on any service or product needs.
• Constructs or assembles display aids from company provided Point of Sale (POS) materials.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must meet company driver qualifications.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to perform basic functions of math in all units of measure and formats and to interpret rate, ratio, percent, and graphs.
