Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes in the Lockport, NY area is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to support our automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers. This role offers paid training, weekly pay with incentives, and a $800 New Hire Bonus as part of joining Team Mavis.

You will perform tire mounting/dismounting, oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and basic vehicle maintenance with emphasis on safety and quality service; opportunities for career growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles

About the General Service Technician Position

As a General Service Technician, you'll perform essential maintenance and tire services that help keep our customers safely on the road. You'll work alongside experienced automotive professionals while developing valuable hands-on skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires

Physical Requirements
