Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking full-time General Service Technicians for our Snellville, GA area centers. No prior automotive experience is required—paid training and a strong team environment help you grow in the automotive service field.

You’ll perform tire and basic maintenance tasks, working with experienced professionals to deliver quality service. Competitive weekly pay plus incentives, and opportunities for advancement are offered, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.

About the General Service Technician Position

As a General Service Technician, you'll perform essential maintenance and tire services that help keep our customers safely on the road. You'll work alongside experienced automotive professionals while developing valuable hands‑on skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires

To be eligible for the General Service Technician position, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States

Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Physical Requirements

General Service Technicians must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with automotive and tire service. Technicians must also be able to regularly lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
