Mavis Tire is seeking full-time General Service Technicians for our Dedham, MA location to perform essential automotive maintenance and tire services. You will learn from experienced technicians and grow your hands-on skills in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorised to work in the United States.

• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles

About the General Service Technician Position

As a General Service Technician, you will perform essential maintenance and tire services that help keep our customers safely on the road. You will work alongside experienced automotive professionals while developing valuable hands‑on skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections

Physical Requirements

General Service Technicians must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with automotive and tyre service. Technicians must also be able to regularly lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
