Pep Boys is now part of the Mavis Tire family, and we are expanding our Huntsville, AL team. We seek experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time roles at our service centers, performing maintenance, repairs, brake work, tire services, and inspections while upholding Mavis standards.

Formación

• At least 2 years of automotive repair experience or training.
• Ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle systems.
• Willingness to work full-time in a busy service environment.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair services.
• Undercar repairs including brakes, suspension, steering; tire mounting and balancing.
• Oil changes, fluid checks, and replacement of worn parts; complete inspections where applicable.
• Maintain high quality, safety, and customer service standards.

We're looking for experienced, full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Huntsville, AL area.

About the Position

As an Automotive Mechanic, you'll inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair services to help keep our customers safely on the road.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
• Replacing worn or damaged parts
• Completing state inspections, where applicable
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service

Qualifications

To be eligible, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs

Preferred:

State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications, including Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Physical Requirements

Automotive Mechanics must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with automotive repair. Mechanics must also be able to regularly lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
