Job summary

Mavis Tire is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics to join our Cincinnati-area service and tire centers. As part of the team, you will inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance and repairs to keep customers safely on the road.

You will handle undercar work, brakes, fluids, tire mounting/balancing, and part replacement while upholding our quality, safety, and customer service standards. This is a full-time role with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• At least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training.
• Must have personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspension, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Oil and filter changes and fluid checks.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires; maintain quality and safety standards.

We're looking for experienced, full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Cincinnati, OH area.

About the Position

As an Automotive Mechanic, you'll inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair services to help keep our customers safely on the road.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
• Replacing worn or damaged parts
• Completing state inspections, where applicable
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service

Qualifications

To be eligible, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs

Preferred:

State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications, including Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Physical Requirements

Automotive Mechanics must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with automotive repair. Mechanics must also be able to regularly lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
