Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking experienced Automotive Mechanics for full-time positions in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Join the nation’s largest automotive service organization with over 4,000 locations, competitive weekly pay, incentives, and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Must supply personal tools necessary for automotive repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, suspensions, and steering.
• Diagnose vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Carry out oil and filter changes and fluid checks.
• Replace worn or damaged parts.
• Complete state inspections where applicable.
• Mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Maintain Mavis quality, safety, and customer service standards.

We're looking for experienced, full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Pittsburgh, PA area.

About the Position

As an Automotive Mechanic, you'll inspect, diagnose, and perform a variety of automotive maintenance and repair services to help keep our customers safely on the road.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, shocks, suspension, and steering
• Diagnosing vehicle maintenance and repair needs
• Performing oil and filter changes and checking fluids
• Replacing worn or damaged parts
• Completing state inspections, where applicable
• Mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Maintaining Mavis standards for quality, safety, and customer service

Qualifications

To be eligible, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Have at least 2 years of automotive repair and maintenance experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Have the personal tools necessary to perform automotive and undercar repairs

Preferred:

State inspection license(s) and ASE Certifications, including Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Physical Requirements

Automotive Mechanics must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with automotive repair. Mechanics must also be able to regularly lift and/or move items weighing more than 50 pounds.
