Job summary

The University of Puget Sound is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer to maintain and enhance our ERP offerings (Campus, Finance, HR) using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and PL/SQL. The role reports to the Senior Technical Program Manager and supports a range of projects with a focus on scalable, secure solutions.

Responsibilities include gathering requirements, designing enhancements, mentoring developers, and delivering quality systems in a collaborative environment on a hybrid schedule at

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• 5 years of programming, database systems, and systems analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of database design and architecture.
• Experience gathering requirements and designing technical specs for customizations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and manage teams and projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration within a diverse campus community.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and maintain administrative applications.
• Mentor development staff and oversee development activities.
• Provide database support, triage tickets, and troubleshoot issues.
• Design and develop interfaces between PeopleSoft and external products.
• Participate in code reviews and documentation efforts.
• Gather requirements and mockups for feasibility and best fit.
• Maintain security and data integrity across systems.
• Develop programs contributing to an inclusive work environment.
