Job summary

Academy of Art University is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer with a strong background in Campus Solutions to join our IT team. This role supports enterprise-wide PeopleSoft applications, collaborates with end users, and delivers upgrades, enhancements, and reports.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field and at least six years of PeopleSoft development experience, including integration with Salesforce and data exchange between systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, engineering or related field required.
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft applications 9.X. Prior experience as a developer within Campus Solutions is required.
• Minimum of six years of PeopleSoft technical and functional experience.
• Experience integrating data between enterprise systems, including Salesforce integrations and web services preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in analysis, design, testing, documentation, modification and implementation of Academy of Art University's enterprise-wide PeopleSoft applications.
• Determine business and reporting requirements with end-users and translate into technical specs for development.
• Develop, test, and document PeopleSoft upgrades, customizations, enhancements, and reports.
• Provide pre- and post-implementation/upgrade technical evaluation and support.
• Provide PeopleSoft application production support.
• Evaluate and implement best practices for data exchange between PeopleSoft and other systems like Bright Space LMS and Salesforce.
• Train end-users and technical staff as needed.
• Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.

Academy of Art University is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer that has preferably worked within higher education. This position is ideal for someone experienced with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions that can work well within remote team environment, handling several projects at a time.

Responsibilities

• Prior full lifecycle PeopleSoft implementation; minimum of six years of PeopleSoft technical and functional experience
• Proven ability to integrate data between enterprise systems. Prior experience with the integration of PeopleSoft and Salesforce systems and web services preferred
• Effective problem solver and troubleshooter
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Development tools and reporting tools: PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Workflow, Security, Application Engine, PS/Query, nVision, Crystal, SQR, etc.
• Technical skills include SQL and other relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server
• Ability to work in independently as well as in a team environment.

Compensation

$110,000 - $135,000 annually
