By combining our deep expertise with operational knowledge, we develop customized, cost-effective strategies that improve efficiency, cut operating costs, and drive sustainability. From program design and management to assessments and decarbonization strategies, we partner with our clients to create solutions that improve energy efficiency, reducing operating costs while also benefitting the planet.

This position has a home-based office with site work for meetings, orientations, and other in-person collaboration.

This is a part-time position: 24–30 hours per week | Full benefits included

Are you an HR professional who loves the details and the people behind them? We’re looking for a People Services Specialist to provide tactical, hands-on support to our growing team in a collaborative, employee-centric environment.

This is a rare part-time opportunity that still offers a full benefits package—and a fantastic way to build or grow your career in the energy industry while maintaining work-life balance.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll support team members across the full People Services lifecycle. Your work will be a mix of payroll and benefits administration, HRIS system support, and project-based collaboration—all grounded in confidentiality, accuracy, and care for the employee experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Timely and accurate processing of payroll, including payroll and benefits reporting
  • Monthly reconciliation of benefit invoices
  • Coordinating and completing all aspects of new team member onboarding
  • Maintaining and updating the HRIS system (position changes, renewals, personnel files, reporting)
  • Supporting compliance efforts, including OSHA reporting and workers’ compensation updates
  • Administering training platforms and supporting training plan development
  • Assisting with People Services policy drafts and procedure creation/testing
  • Supporting recruiting activities as needed
  • Providing guidance to managers on performance, goal setting, and People Services policies
  • Assisting team members with People Services questions and employee relations matters
  • Participating in team member engagement initiatives and company events
  • Maintaining complete confidentiality and upholding the company's guiding principles
What We’re Looking For
  • Some experience in human resources, payroll, benefits, or HRIS administration is strongly preferred. We’ll consider candidates who have prior coursework or internships in human resources.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Working knowledge of payroll and benefits processes
  • Comfortable working within established procedures while recognizing when flexibility is needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative, service-oriented mindset with a passion for supporting employees

We offer an excellent full-time benefits package including DAY 1 benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD), a retirement plan with match, profit sharing, 13 paid holidays, parental leave, and 120 hours of paid time off starting in year 1.
