Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a People Partner to lead immigration and visa sponsorship programs, and to support a growing, globally distributed team. You will oversee employee relations from investigation to resolution, and drive scalable onboarding and performance processes that mature with 10x growth.

You will partner with managers, advise on hiring and structure, and escalate counsel when needed while maintaining an equitable, compliant HR practice across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience owning an employer-sponsored immigration program (H-1B, O-1, L-1, PERM) and coordinating with outside counsel.
• Background as HRBP or people partner during rapid company growth.
• Experience running sensitive ER investigations with documented outcomes.
• Ability to move at high speed with rapid responses and policy execution.
• Understanding of employment law and knowing when to engage counsel.

• Own Fluidstack's immigration and visa sponsorship program from strategy to filing coordination.

Role Scope

• Serve as the people partner for your client orgs, the first call for managers on hiring, performance, structure, and the hard conversations.

• Own Fluidstack's immigration and visa sponsorship program, from case strategy through filing coordination with outside counsel, for both new hires and existing employees.

• Own employee relations end to end: investigate, resolve, and document with judgment and speed.

• Run the people rhythms for your groups: onboarding, reviews, engagement, and offboarding that scale with 10x growth.

• Coach managers, many of them first-time, into leaders their teams would choose again.

• You've owned an employer-sponsored immigration program directly, including H-1B, O-1, L-1, or PERM cases, and know the process well enough to manage outside counsel rather than just route to them.

• You've been an HRBP or people partner through rapid scaling, and your client leaders would hire you again.

• You've run sensitive ER cases end to end and your investigations held up.

• You move at operating speed: same-day answers, not next-cycle policies.

• You know employment law well enough to know when you need counsel.

• Bonus: Global mobility experience beyond the US. Technical, field, or industrial client groups. High-growth startups.
