Job summary

JMAN Group is seeking a People Business Partner to join the People Team in the United States. You will partner with managers and employees to address people matters, guide on performance and development, and support initiatives across onboarding, benefits, and policy enforcement.

You’ll navigate employee relations, investigations, and leave management while promoting a positive employee experience and company culture as we scale. A strong background in HR programs and employment law is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of progressive experience in a People, HR, or related role.
• Experience in consulting, professional services, technology, or another high‑growth environment preferred.
• Strong employee relations experience and the ability to navigate sensitive situations confidently.
• Experience supporting managers through performance management and people challenges.
• Working knowledge of employment law and people compliance requirements.
• Experience administering people programs across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary People Team partner for managers and employees across the business.
• Provide practical, business‑focused guidance on employee relations and people matters.
• Coach managers through performance, development, team effectiveness, and challenging people situations.
• Support employees through key career and workplace moments.
• Conduct workplace investigations and help resolve employee concerns.
• Manage leave and accommodation processes with empathy and compliance.
• Own onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
• Coordinate immigration processes and external partners.
• Maintain people policies, employee records, and HRIS data integrity.
• Support payroll governance and ensure accurate people administration.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Coordinate performance review and talent management cycles.
• Support talent reviews and development discussions.
• Administer promotion processes and employee development programs.
• Partner with leaders to ensure people processes are delivered consistently and effectively.
• Execute employee engagement initiatives and programs.
• Help create the experiences that make people want to join, grow, and stay with the company.
• Deliver internal people communications and rewards/recognition messages.
• Coordinate local office events and community‑building activities.
