Soules Foods, a Tyler, Texas-based family-owned meat company, seeks an HR Specialist to join our Human Resources team. You will oversee daily operations across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll, and compliance with employment laws.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1–3 years HR experience in an assistant or coordinator role.
• Experience with ATS, HRIS, and MS Office.
• Strong communication and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Post job openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and conduct background checks.
• Coordinate new hire orientation, prepare onboarding materials, and maintain training records.
• Maintain digital employee records, ensure compliance with federal/state laws, and process payroll.
• Act as a liaison between employees and management, resolving complaints, and supporting performance management.
• Assist with worker's compensation, leave of absence (e.g., FMLA), and employee benefits administration.
