Job description

DensityAI builds the AI accelerator silicon powering the next generation of compute. We're roughly doubling headcount over the next 18 months and need a People Operations Specialist to be the operational backbone that growth depends on: onboarding every new hire cleanly, keeping our systems and records accurate, and running benefits and compliance on time. Our processes are young, so this is a build role, not a maintenance one.

What You'll Do

Run end-to-end onboarding at volume: offer logistics, background checks, I-9/E-Verify, IT provisioning handoffs, and a consistent day one

Own the HRIS (Rippling) as the system of record: data accuracy, org and reporting structure, lifecycle changes, workflows, and permissions

Produce trustworthy people reporting on a predictable cadence, primarily headcount vs. plan, plus hiring, attrition, and cost

Administer benefits through our Rippling PEO: enrollments, life events, and open enrollment, coordinating with our PEO account team

Manage the Rippling PEO relationship and handle the compliance that stays in-house (I-9, postings, state pay-transparency and leave), keeping data clean for the filings the PEO owns (payroll tax, workers\' comp, ACA)

Track work-authorization and immigration status with legal support

Build the repeatable processes that let People Ops scale, and be a first point of contact for routine employee questions

Provide payroll inputs (processed via the PEO) and data support tocomp and headcount planning

What We're Looking For

3+ years in People Operations, HR operations, or HRIS administration at a scaling company

Hands-on HRIS ownership (Rippling, Workday, or similar), including reporting and configuration

Experience running onboarding and administering benefits, ideally in a PEO / co-employment model

Working knowledge of US employment-compliance basics, and strong accuracy instincts

Comfort creating process where none exists, and discretion with confidential data

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.

$105,000 - $145,000 USD

Compensation

Final offers depend on level, location, and skills relevant to the role. Additional compensation: equity grant per company guidelines; medical / dental / vision; 401(k); standard PTO.

DensityAI sponsors qualified candidates for H-1B, O-1, TN, E-3, and other employment-based visas, and we welcome applicants on F-1 OPT and STEM-OPT. Work authorization is required at start; we provide immigration support to secure or transfer status.

Export Controls

Aspects of this role may involve access to information subject to U.S. export controls (EAR/ITAR). We may discuss licensing or scope adjustments during the interview.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305 Page 1 of 1 OMB Control Number 1250-0005 Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp .

  • Alcohol or other substance use disorder (not currently using drugs illegally)
  • Autoimmune disorder, for example, lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, HIV/AIDS
  • Blind or low vision
