Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail checkout environment.
• Learn and use Meijer systems and technology.
• Be reliable, detail-oriented and willing to help.
• Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Be the last touchpoint a customer has before leaving the store.
• Create welcoming, memorable checkout experiences.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently with Meijer systems.
• Handle cash and payments with care and accuracy.
• Communicate clearly with customers using friendly body language and eye contact.
• Address questions and resolve concerns with care to build trust.
• Contribute to smooth operations and assist coworkers as needed.
