Job summary

Columbia Hospitality is seeking a Director of P&C Operations to lead human resources for a portfolio of 5+ properties, partnering with property leadership to ensure consistent employment practices and talent programs.

You will address workforce challenges, support employee engagement, and collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Learning & Development, and HRIS to deliver P&C services across locations. This onsite role is based in Seattle, WA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Hospitality, or related field.
• 7+ years progressive HR experience.
• 3+ years supporting multiple locations/properties.
• Strong employee relations and investigations experience.
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, resort, or service operations.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary P&C partner to General Managers and property leadership teams.
• Provide day-to-day P&C guidance across properties and ensure policy consistency.
• Advise on employee relations issues, performance, and people management practices.
• Partner with leaders to improve engagement, retention, and workplace culture.

Skills

Bachelor’s degree in HR/BA/Hospitality

7+ years HR experience

3+ years multi-location support

Employee relations investigations

Hospitality industry experience

Knowledge of employment laws
