Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking a People & Culture Intern to gain hands-on experience in HR operations and employee life cycle support. You will work closely with a mentor and a cross-functional team to apply business and HR concepts and contribute to real projects.

The role requires enrollment in a related degree program (BA/MA/PhD) with a 3.0+ GPA and at least one semester remaining. On-site, full-time for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting Jan–Mar 2027; CA pay is $25/hour with

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate program in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management or related field and have at least one semester of school remaining post internship.
• GPA of 3.0 or above.
• 3+ months of corporate function experience within the areas of Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with mentor and department to apply knowledge and grow technical and professional skills.
• Support fast-paced HR functions and corporate projects.
• Attend regular 1:1s with mentors and supervisors to track progress and learning.

Education

Bachelor's/Master's/Doctorate in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management or related field
