Job summary

ITBrainiac Inc is seeking a Penetration Tester in Newark area to execute E2E and functional testing across web, mobile, and API platforms. The role participates in sprint ceremonies and works with Development, Business and Release teams to validate fixes before production deployment.

The candidate will create and maintain test plans, perform post-deployment validations, and generate defect reports along with root cause analysis to ensure high-quality software releases.

Qualifications

• DAST and security testing methodologies are required.
• Experience with OWASP Top 10 and vulnerability assessment tools.
• Hands-on testing across web, mobile, and API surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Execute End-to-End, functional, integration, and regression testing for releases.
• Create, maintain, and run test cases, scenarios and plans.
• Perform production smoke testing and post-deployment validations.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects to closure with tools.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and quality reporting.
• Collaborate with Dev, Biz and Release teams to validate fixes.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and release validation activities.
• Ensure stability and quality for successful deployments.

Job Description

Execute End-to-End (E2E), Functional, Integration, Progression, and Regression testing for application releases.

Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.

Perform production smoke testing, sanity checks, and post-deployment validations.

Identify, log, track, and retest defects through closure using defect management tools.

Conduct root cause analysis and provide defect status and quality reports.

Collaborate with Development, Business, and Release teams to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.

Participate in sprint ceremonies, defect triage meetings, and release validation activities.

Ensure application stability, quality standards, and successful production deployments.
