Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Penetration Tester to join a large healthcare provider's cybersecurity team. You will be part of the Red Team, performing internal and external tests, simulating adversarial attacks, and identifying vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and applications.

The role requires strong technical skills, creative attack simulations, and the ability to clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Penetration Tester.
• Expertise in Red Team operations and advanced penetration testing techniques.
• Hands-on experience with offensive security initiatives, including internal and external penetration testing, adversarial simulations, and red team operations targeting infrastructure, applications, and user awareness.
• Proven ability to exploit systems, elevate privileges, and identify security gaps in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external penetration tests across networks, apps, and infrastructure.

Job description

Location: Hybrid x2 onsite and can sit at any of these locations:

Schedule: Hybrid, 2 days onsite per week

Duration: Direct Hire

Compensation: $115-140k/yr based on years of experience, education, certifications, and more (potential flex to $145-150k/yr for those exceeding requirements)

Must Haves

• 3–5 years of experience as a Penetration Tester
• Demonstrated expertise in Red Team operations and advanced penetration testing techniques
• Hands‑on experience with offensive security initiatives, including internal and external penetration testing, adversarial simulations, and red team operations targeting infrastructure, applications, and user awareness
• Proven ability to exploit systems, elevate privileges, and identify security gaps in complex environments

Plusses

• OSCP or similar certifications
• Prior experience working in healthcare environments or with healthcare data
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare‑specific threat models
