Steel Nation in Canonsburg, PA is seeking a PEMB Design Coordinator to ensure accuracy, quality, and constructability of pre-engineered metal building projects. You will review and redline drawings, evaluate coordination plans, and approve PEMB designs as a key technical resource throughout the design process.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of PEMB experience, hands-on CAD/PEMB software skills (MBS/ACT), and the ability to identify design issues before fabrication and construction begin.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of PEMB experience.
• Direct PEMB design experience is required.
• Ability to identify design issues before fabrication and construction.

Responsibilities

• Review, redline, and approve PEMB design drawings.
• Review coordination drawings for openings, loading, colors, and details.
• Verify PEMB designs align with client specs and POs.
• Identify conflicts and constructability issues with stakeholders.
• Serve as technical resource to PMs, clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Collaborate with design and estimating teams on complex projects.
• Ensure drawings and design packages are reviewed and approved before fabrication.
• Maintain design quality, accuracy, and schedule adherence.
