Job summary

VCU Health in Richmond, VA, seeks an accomplished physician for the Pediatric Emergency Department – School of Medicine. The role emphasizes direct patient care for pediatric Emergency Medicine patients and teaching residents and medical students.

This 12-month, non-tenure track appointment requires board certification in EM or PEM, a Virginia license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS. You will participate in quality improvement and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
  • Virginia medical license or ability to obtain.
  • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
  • Completion of accredited Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine residency.
  • Commitment to respect, professionalism and civility in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities
