Job summary

Capital Health seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Pelvic Health to deliver personalized treatment plans and educate patients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.

You will conduct pelvic health evaluations, develop prognosis-based interventions, and update care plans to maximize functional independence for patients across hospital and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• Graduation from accredited physical therapy school or education approved by NJ State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• Two years clinical experience in pelvic health therapy with PRPC credential or exam-ready status.
• AHA Heartsaver AED, Physical Therapist License.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with pelvic health conditions in hospital, outpatient clinic with pelvic health, and home settings.
• Conduct thorough pelvic floor evaluations including urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, prolapse, and pre/postnatal conditions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients on pelvic floor anatomy, self-care strategies, and adherence to treatment plans.
• Provide emotional support to patients dealing with sensitive conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, urologists, gynecologists, and obstetricians for comprehensive care.
• Communicate treatment goals and progress to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in line with policies and HIPAA.
