Aptak is hiring a dedicated Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to provide exceptional care to patients in Wasilla, AK. The therapist will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, deliver care, and supervise support staff.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Alaska.
• Experience or strong interest in pelvic health physical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and evaluate therapy treatment/intervention programs.
• Interpret physician referrals and determine appropriate evaluation procedures.
• Recommend standardized treatments or interventions based on clinical indications.
• Conduct assessments for neuromuscular control, coordination, balance, and ambulation.
• Update treatment plans and set short- and long-term goals in collaboration with the care team.
• Educate patients on interventions, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
• Reassess patient progress every 6-8 visits or as needed.
• Discharge patients when goals are met and ensure appropriate follow-up/referrals.
• Supervise and train therapy assistants and aides in patient care.
• Provide education on injury prevention, ergonomics, and overall health promotion.
