Job summary

Peirce Phelps is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver for our Valley Forge/Norristown, PA location. You will operate a forklift and a 26' box truck to unload, receive, and deliver HVAC equipment and parts. You will count, stage, and ship orders while maintaining safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires 21+ with a valid license, 2+ years driving experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Benefits include a comprehensive package, HSA, 401k, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• 2+ years of professional non-CDL driving experience (26' box truck)
• MVR and medical check clearance
• Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to unload, receive, and store inventory and load delivery vehicles
• Operate a Non-CDL box truck and make deliveries
• Pull, count, and stage orders for delivery in a timely manner
• Check parts/equipment for accuracy and damage
• Deliver equipment and parts safely and on time
• Handle shipping/receiving and maintain a clean, organized facility

Job Duties

• Operates a forklift to unload, receive, and put away inventory and load delivery vehicles
• Operates a Non-CDL box truck while making deliveries
• Pull, count, check and stage all orders for delivery in a timely manner
• Check all parts and equipment for accuracy and damage
• Deliver equipment and parts in a safe and timely fashion
• Responsible for shipping and receiving and ensuring the facility is well-maintained and clean

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• A minimum of 2 years of professional (non-CDL 26' box truck) driving experience
• Have previously passed the MVR and medical check
• Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to work independently and work well under pressure
