Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the United States to contribute to requirements elicitation, design discussions, and coding efforts for AI-enabled banking and insurance solutions. You will participate in the full SDLC, perform code reviews, implement tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve stability and performance across projects.

• Experience with defect/test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, QMetry.

Job Role: Technology Consultant 2

In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in testing applications developed on the Pega Platform (Pega Infinity, Customer Service, Smart Dispute, BPM applications).
• Experience of Pega Case Management, Business Rules, Workflows, Integrations, Decisioning, and Reporting.
• Experience in Test Automation using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber.
• Experience in Selenium‑Java Coding.
• Experience with defect management and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, QMetry, or similar tools.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience of building scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks from the ground up using Playwright, Selenium, BDD/Cucumber, and API automation (RestAssured) tools.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience of testing APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman and Rest Assured.
• Knowledge on Banking Domain.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
