Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a skilled Pega Software Developer to design, build, test, and maintain Pega applications. You will collaborate with analysts, PMs, and other developers to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

The role requires a strong background in Pega PRPC, experience with SOAP/REST/JMS/MQ, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. CSSA is preferred, with opportunities for growth and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Pega development.
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Pega PRPC architecture, components, and features.
• Proficiency in Pega Rules, Flows, Activities, Reports, and User Interfaces.
• Experience with integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, JMS, and MQ.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Pega applications using Pega PRPC platform.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Create and maintain design specifications, test plans, and deployment guides.
• Perform unit testing and support UAT to ensure quality of delivered solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Pega applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
• Stay updated with latest Pega technologies and industry trends.
