As a Pega developer, you play a pivotal role in transforming mission needs into secure, reliable, and maintainable workflow automation and case-management solutions. We are looking for an experienced Pega developer like you to apply your knowledge of Pega development, architecture, and Agile delivery to support critical capabilities for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

As a Pega developer at Booz Allen, you will work across the full software lifecycle with product owners, analysts, testers, architects, and other technical professionals. You will design, configure, develop, and support Pega solutions, translate business processes into case types, workflows, data objects, integrations, user interfaces, rules, and decision logic, and apply standards for performance, security, maintainability, and upgrade readiness.

Most importantly, you will help deliver high-quality releases and support dependable operations through clear documentation, testing, deployment coordination, and production troubleshooting. You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with Pega development or architecture
  • Experience designing, configuring, developing, and supporting Pega case-management solutions using Pega best practices and reusable components
  • Experience translating business processes into case types, workflows, data objects, integrations, user interfaces, rules, and decision logic
  • Experience supporting testing, deployment, performance, and production troubleshooting for software solutions
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment with product owners, analysts, testers, architects, and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, federal health IT, or other regulated healthcare programs
  • Experience with healthcare interoperability standards or technologies such as FHIR, X12, EDI, or Edifecs
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Microsoft 365, or other collaborative Agile delivery tools
  • Experience with Azure, Databricks, Power Platform, or related cloud and data technologies
  • Experience applying performance, security, maintainability, and upgrade-readiness standards during design and code reviews
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a distributed team
  • Possession of clear written and verbal communication skills

The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
